September 23: We will tangentially discuss the triumph of Liberalism in England and France in the mid-19th Century. We will also also deal with the Philosophies, in particular looking at Romanticism. We will then examine the nature of German Development in the 19th Century, which led to its unification at the intersection of Romanticism and Nationalism.
